Troubleshooting and Quick Solutions

Q: What status indicates the charger is charging?A: There is an explanation on the back of the charging station: dual red lights.

Q: Will the battery still drain while charging and using at the same time?A: There is a risk of battery drain in some usage scenarios; it is recommended to charge in advance and charge during idle time. Keep voltage not lower than 44V; if it drops below 40V and an error occurs, you need to charge and restart.

Q: Do I have to shut down to charge?A: Not required, but shutting down can shorten charging time; it is recommended to charge in advance and charge during idle time.

Q: Do I need to remove the base to find the LiDAR network cable?A: Yes, you need to remove the chassis cover plate to see it.

Q: Is the LiDAR driver already installed?A: No, it is not included by default. Please refer to the installation manual: https://github.com/Livox-SDK/Livox-SDK2.

Q: Is the inference host IP fixed?A: Yes, the IP is fixed.

Q: The data collection program shows task initialization failed, how to handle this?A: This may be caused by disconnection due to plugging/unplugging the VR; after plugging/unplugging, you need to restart the teleoperation service in the HMI.

Q: Is there a pre-installed SLAM program?A: No, there is no pre-installed program.

Q: What is the LiDAR IP?A: 192.168.1.1xx, where xx is the last two digits of the LiDAR serial number.

Q: Can I use while charging?A: Not recommended, there is a risk of battery drain; it is recommended to charge in advance and charge during idle time.

Q: Is the LiDAR connected to the motion control unit or the computing platform?A: The LiDAR is connected to the motion control unit.

Q: How to get LiDAR point cloud data for secondary development?A: Refer to the official documentation: https://github.com/Livox-SDK/Livox-SDK2.

Q: Should impedance be enabled when collecting data? What impact does enabling impedance have on the collected data?A: It is recommended to enable impedance, especially when the robotic arm interacts with the environment; this can avoid rigid collisions. However, it will slightly reduce position accuracy, with basically no impact on training.

Q: Runaway fault on axis 13, how to clear this fault?A: Power off and restart.

Q: Gripper status light shows red?A: Gripper error, needs to be returned to factory for repair.
